According to the Privy Council Chairman General Prem Tinsulanonda to develop the poorest area in Songkhla province, governmental and private agencies cooperated in improving Pak-Lor area particularly in economic by creating jobs and occupations consecutively since 1997 and presently expand to The-Pa, Kra-Sae-Sin, Ra-Nod, and Sating-Phra areas.

The development aims to creating jobs and occupations which also provides people the learning process and know how to cooperate with others. Consequences, the community can stand on their own feet and currently it has set up a group of tabtim fish farmers, and then enhances to create one tambol one product (OTOP).
