Kam-Phaeng-Phet Agricultural Village

Kam-Phaeng-Phet Agricultural Village was established in 1979, on the area 1,600 rai of land, at Thep Nakhon, Kam Phaeng Phet. The project was supported by 4 agencies including Kam-Phaeng-Phet government service, Bangkok Bank, CP Group, and agriculturists. It was set up to help farmers to obtaining their own land, recognizing how to farm as well as growing plant, and management systems. Farmers were provided supports in many ways:

  1. Land allocations
  2. Construction of homes and swine house, and circulated fund
  3. Academic knowledge offer
  4. Marketing supports

Procedure

Production Support
In swine production, farmers are own house, labor, utilities of electricity, and water. Other factors like breeders, feeds, medicine, vaccine, advices from husbandry, the company will provide them for farmers.

Financial Support
Farmers have to loan some money to enlarging and repairing their animal houses while CP acts as guarantor.

Feed and Breed Support
CP Group provides breeds and feed to farmers who joins in the project.

Marketing and Management Support
CP is responsible for all outcomes.
