Manufacturing industries not only have high turnover rates but also high demand for labor for business continuity and growth. Although more than 3 billion people are employed globally, the majority of them are forced into unfair, unsafe, and harmful employment. Being in employment does not always rid them of poverty.1 The employment rate is thus not an indicator of better quality of life of people in the society. There are also reports on ongoing slave labor and human trafficking that are constantly under global attention.
CPF recognize and emphasize respect for human and labor rights of our employees and workers, as well as for our business partners throughout our complex supply chain. We are committed to laying a strong foundation of human resources management based on fairness and equality in accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP) and International Labour Organization (ILO). We also encourage our business partners to implement the same principles in their business operations.

We regularly assess human rights impacts to identify issues regarding and improve our management of human rights and labor practices.
