Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods), in collaboration with Charoen Pokphand Group, has donated a total of THB 10.5 million to Ramathibodi Hospital to support the restoration of its main building, which was recently damaged by fire. The donation reinforces CP-CPF’s long-standing commitment to the “Three-Benefit Principle” — conducting business that benefits the country, the people, and the company.
The donation was officially presented by Mr. Prasit Boondoungprasert, Chief Executive Officer of CP Foods, to Professor Clinical Professor Artit Ungkanont, M.D., Dean of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and Chairman of the Ramathibodi Foundation.
Professor Dr. Arthit emphasized the importance of societal cooperation in strengthening the national healthcare system, noting that while government funding provides essential support, public contributions remain vital in delivering patient care and upgrading medical equipment. The continued assistance from CP Foods and Charoen Pokphand Group plays a crucial role in ensuring the sustainability of public health services.
“Inspired by the leadership of our Senior Chairman, Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, CP-CPF remains deeply committed to supporting society,” said Mr. Prasit Boondoungprasert. “Following the unfortunate fire incident, we launched the initiative ‘Every Purchase is a Power of Giving,’ offering selected products at special prices and contributing net proceeds to help fund the hospital’s recovery.”
This meaningful donation reflects CP-CPF’s belief in the power of giving — a collective force that drives positive change and helps build a resilient and sustainable Thai society.
