

CP Foods encourages hosted “Three Benefits to Sustainability Awards 2019” award ceremony
Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF) hosted “Three Benefits to Sustainability Awards 2019” award ceremony to honored employees dedicated themselves to social and environmental development, improving communities nationwide.
The awards was established since 2016 to give recognitions to CSR projects that made an impact to society in line with the company’s strategic directions under the concept “3 pillars: Food Security, Self-Sufficiency, and Balance of Nature” and UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
In this year, 26 projects were honored with awards. The winners are chosen by CSR experts from CP Foods and external organizations such as The Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) and The National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC).
Mr. Sooksunt Jiumjaiswanglerg, Chief Executive Officer - Agro Industrial Business and Co-President at CPF, addressed at the ceremony that CP Foods has operated the business with responsible practices. Therefore, it is crucial for the company to balance the economic, social and environmental performance. CSR activities will bring p impact to society as well as helping the company to engage with communities.
Mr. Sukhawat Dansermsuk, Chief Executive Officer - Food Business and Co-President, explained that consumers nowadays are looking beyond the quality of end product. They are looking for responsibility and transparency throughout supply chain and product lifecycle. As a result, all CP Foods’ employees must work together to gain recognition from our consumers and bring positive changes to the society.
