Baan Thmmachart Lang community in Trat province utilizes local wisdom to develop bio-organic nano fertilizer with a technical guidance from Charoen Pokphand Foods (CP Foods).

Mr. Thonglor Worachat, a village philosopher, told that the community’s received unstable income due to main sources of earnings are from fruit farming and fishery.

CP Foods provided technical consultant to help them develop bio-organic nano fertilizer from their local wisdom using within the community and selling for commercial purpose.

Currently, the community is able to sell 30 tons of fertilizers a year, making a revenue of THB 300,000.

The community has further developed a learning center, sharing successful practice to visitor. They are also planning to set up a Small and Micro Community Enterprise (SMCE).
