25 CP Foods’ plant receives CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2019.

25 Charoen Pokphand Foods’ plants received CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2019 from Department of Industrial Works (DIW) in this year, demonstrating the company commitment to social and environment aspects.

The Company is determined to develop sustainable business based on UN Sustainable Development Goals in an effort to minimize impact of company’s business on the society and environment. Consequently, the company’s operations worldwide have adopted sustainable concept of Circular Economy throughout the value chain. These measures will help CP Foods to minimize waste generation, for example single-use plastics, and utilize natural resources.

Moreover, CP Foods operations place a high importance on social contribution in line with ISO 26000, an international standard for social responsibility, covering the areas such governance, human rights, labour practices, and environment.

The award ceremony was chaired by Mr. Kornphattawee Muangnoy, Deputy Director General of Department of Industrial Works, at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok.
