Army chief Gen Narongpan Jittkaewtae, presided over the merit making ceremony on October 13th in memory of late King Bhumibol the Great with CP Group chairman Soopakij Chearavanont, and Mr. Pong Wisetpaitoon, Vice Chairman of the CP Foods’ Executive Committee, attended the event at Khlong Toei community.

Besides merit making ceremony, Gen Narongpan and Mr. Soopakij jointly distributed meals and drinking water to 10,000 people in 9 communities in 7 areas of Bangkok. Cooking ingredients, including 1,300 kg of fresh chicken, 11,000 of eggs, 1,000 kg of rice, and 10,000 bottles of drinking water, are supplied by CP and CP Foods.
