Corn: Prices Stable
Domestic corn prices at animal feed mill silos remained unchanged at THB 606 per bag.
On the international front, according to an InfoQuest report citing the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) on 26 February 2026, the May 2026 corn futures contract rose by 1.50 cents (+0.34%) to close at USD 4.4350 per bushel. Corn futures initially declined in line with soybeans but rebounded to close higher, despite weekly export sales coming in below market expectations.
Outlook: Domestic corn prices are expected to remain stable.

Soybean Meal: Prices Stable
Imported soybean meal prices held steady at THB 14.95 per kilogram. Soybean harvesting in Brazil is approximately 32% complete, a healthy pace, with production forecasts still expected to exceed levels seen in previous years. Meanwhile, China’s soybean imports remain above the five-year average, indicating continued strong purchasing demand.
According to InfoQuest, citing CBOT data on 26 February 2026, the May 2026 soybean futures contract declined by 1.50 cents (-0.13%) to close at USD 11.6350 per bushel. Prices eased due to profit-taking after previously climbing to their highest level since mid-2024, driven by optimism over U.S. biofuel demand and Chinese imports.
Outlook: Imported soybean meal prices are expected to remain stable.

Fish Meal: Prices Increased
Following the end of the fishing season in Peru, fish meal purchasing prices in China have continued to rise. Buying activity at ports increased after the long holiday period, while fish meal inventories in China remain relatively low.
In the domestic market this week, fish meal prices increased by THB 1 per kilogram across all grades:
• Shrimp-grade fish meal: THB 51/kg (up from THB 50)
• Grade 1 (>60% protein): THB 45.70/kg (up from THB 44.70)
• Grade 1 (<60% protein): THB 40.70/kg (up from THB 39.70)
• Grade 2 (>60% protein): THB 42.20/kg (up from THB 41.20)
• Grade 2 (56–60% protein): THB 39.70/kg (up from THB 38.70)
Outlook: Fish meal prices are expected to stabilize.

Rice: Prices Declined
The Thai Rice Exporters Association reported weekly rice trading conditions, noting that 100% white rice (Grade 2) prices declined from THB 1,170 per bag to THB 1,150 per bag, while A1 Super broken rice remained unchanged at THB 1,040 per bag.
For export prices (FOB, Bangkok):
• 100% white rice (Grade 2): USD 421/ton, down from USD 426/ton
• A1 Super broken rice: USD 385/ton, up slightly from USD 384/ton

Swine: Prices Increased
The National Swine Raisers Association reported live swine prices at farm gates for Week 9/2026 (as of 23 February 2026).
The average reference price in Bangkok and surrounding areas increased by THB 4 week-on-week to THB 58/kg, with similar increases of THB 4/kg recorded across all regions nationwide.
Piglets weighing 16 kg per head were priced at THB 1,300 (± THB 54).

Broiler Chicken: Prices Increased
The Livestock Economics Research Group, Department of Livestock Development, reported average farm-gate livestock prices as of 23 February 2026.
Broiler chicken prices rose from THB 40/kg to THB 41/kg.
Broiler chicks were priced at THB 19.50 per head, while layer chicks were priced at THB 28.00 per head.
