Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) has received the TIS 9999 certification for its feed business, underscoring the company's commitment to sustainable growth through the application of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy introduced by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.
CP Foods applies this philosophy as a core management principle to ensure organizational growth while maintaining a balance across economic, social, environmental, and human development dimensions. This approach strengthens the company’s ability to adapt to change and deliver long-term value for all stakeholders.
At the “Sufficiency Economy for Sustainable TIS 9999 Standards” event held at True Digital Park, Bangkok, Jongrak Rojpalasatean, President of the Management System Certification Institute (Thailand) (MASCI), presented the TIS 9999 certification to CP Foods’ feed business.
Rewat Hathaisattayapong, Head of Feed Business at CP Foods, stated that the company has embedded the core principles of the Sufficiency Economy—moderation, reasonableness, and risk immunity, supported by knowledge and integrity—into operations across all 12 production plants nationwide. These principles guide strategic planning, manufacturing, human development, and community and environmental stewardship in alignment with CP Foods’ “Three Benefits to Sustainability” commitment.
A clear example of this philosophy in action is CP Foods’ internal “Debt Relief and Savings Promotion Program,” which helps employees burdened with high-interest loans access low-interest financing while receiving financial literacy training. This initiative improves employees’ financial well-being, enhances their quality of life, and contributes to a more stable and productive workforce.
Furthermore, all CP Foods business units implement the CP Excellence (CPEX) management system—a framework developed by Charoen Pokphand Group based on the Thailand Quality Award (TQA) criteria. This system integrates the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy into everyday operations, aligning staff under a shared vision and enabling the organization to compete globally and grow sustainably.
“We believe that implementing TIS 9999 will ensure our business operates in moderation, with rational decision-making, and guided by knowledge and ethics. These principles will support CP Foods in achieving long-term, sustainable, and resilient growth,” Mr. Rewat concluded.
