Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) is cultivating environmental awareness among the next generation through its flagship initiative, “CP Foods Sharing Knowledge, Planting Care”, aimed at planting a love for the planet and empowering youth networks nationwide.

At Wat Taldiao School in Kaeng Khoi District, Saraburi Province, more than 200 students, along with teachers, parents, and community members, joined a day of hands-on learning. Instead of routine classes, children engaged in fun and practical activities across four interactive learning stations: Climate in Crisis—Let’s Plant, Safety Heroes, Sufficiency Economy, and Local Arts and Culture. Each station combined knowledge and real-world skills—from tree planting to reduce global warming, basic firefighting and road safety, King Rama IX’s “Three Rings and Two Conditions” philosophy, to traditional Thai dessert-making that can support future livelihoods.

Students shared that the program not only inspired them but also provided knowledge they can apply in daily life. “I enjoyed every activity, especially planting trees to help reduce global warming. We learned and had fun at the same time—this is the best kind of lesson outside the classroom,” said one participant.

School Director Ms. Suthalak Charoenloy praised CP Foods for being “a true member of the community” and noted that the program helps children develop life, vocational, and academic skills that support their future.

Launched in 2023, the project has already reached more than 13,840 children and youth across 87 schools in 22 provinces. CP Foods aims to expand the program to build a 30,000-strong youth environmental network by 2027, integrating STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) into every activity.

This initiative reflects CP Foods’ strong commitment to its “Three Benefits to Sustainability” principle—benefit to the country, to the people, and to the company—by inspiring young people to take action in protecting the planet and securing a sustainable future for all.
