

Sep. 11, 2015- Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited or “CPF”, the leading Thai food and agro-industry conglomerate has been officially selected to join the 2015 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) - Emerging Markets. CPF is the first Thai integrated agro-industrial conglomerate to be selected by DJSI.
CPF was selected in the first year of applying for assessment, 3 years faster than Company’s target of 2018. CPF was selected based on an assessment of the company’s economic, social and environment contributions. CPF received higher scores than the industry’s average: with a total of 80 points (out of 100) across the 8 criteria: Customer Relations Management, Risk & Crisis Management, Climate Strategy, Environmental Policy/Management System, Water Related Risks, Corporate Citizenship and Philanthropy, Human Capital Development and Labor Practice Indicators & Human Right.
