Manufacturing industries not only have high turnover rates but also high demand for labor for business continuity and growth. Although more than 3 billion people are employed globally, the majority of them are forced into unfair, unsafe, and harmful employment. Being in employment does not always rid them of poverty.1 The employment rate is thus not an indicator of better quality of life of people in the society. There are also reports on ongoing slave labor and human trafficking that are constantly under global attention.
CPF recognize and emphasize respect for human and labor rights of our employees and workers, as well as for our business partners throughout our complex supply chain. We are committed to laying a strong foundation of human resources management based on fairness and equality in accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP) and International Labour Organization (ILO). We also encourage our business partners to implement the same principles in their business operations.

Policy and Commitment
We declare our commitment and manage human rights through our human rights and labor practices policies. These policies exhibit our concrete commitment to fighting against human rights violation and to promoting good labor practices.
Fostering Respect for Human Rights through Policies and Communication
We foster respect for human rights within the organization through our relevant policies. We communicate these policies to employees and business partners to strengthen our management of human rights and labor practices.
Human Rights Due Diligence
Implementing human rights due diligence regularly on a three-year basis to identify and improve human rights management and labour practices, and to mitigate potential negative impacts that may arise.
Receipt of Complaints
Providing employees with channels for grievances and complaints or reporting tips related to malpractice or misconducts, and investigating issues in order to effectively manage and take corrective actions.
Monitoring and Disclosure of Operating Results
Closely monitoring human rights and labour practices in order to strengthen human rights and labour practices, and transparently disclosing such results to the public through various channels.

We improve our management plan in order to address impacts and solve arising issues effectively.
