






Prince of Songkla university’s Faculty of Veterinary Science inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly cooperate in academic and researching activities with the propose to enhance competitiveness of farmers in the southern part of Thailand.
The MOU was signed by President of PSU Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, Director of Faculty of Veterinary Science Asst.Prof.Dr. Usa Chethanond, Mr. Rewat Hathaisttayapong, Chief Operation Officer Feed Business of CP Foods, and Mr. Jarus Aussawachanchaisakul, Vice President of CP Foods.
Under this agreement, both parties will conduct corroborative research project and sharing their expertise in Veterinary Science to each other as well as jointly design a dynamic curriculum that meet livestock and aquaculture businesses' needs.
Moreover, the university and CP Foods will work together to research viral diseases in animal.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat said the university aims at being an innovative university that contribute to in societal development. This MOU is a significant step for the university toward academic excellence, which will benefit the university, the company as well as people in the southern region and Thailand as a whole.
Mr. Rewat added that the strong partnership between CP Foods and the university will produce more veterinarian knowledge and animal specialists to take on new challenges in livestock and aquaculture industries.
