Helping shrimp farmers access advanced nutritional solutions and farming techniques locally
Located at Lot B5, Khanh An Industrial Park, Khanh An Commune, Ca Mau Province, C.P. Vietnam Ca Mau Aquaculture Feed Mill covers nearly 18 hectares with a total investment of VND 1.725 trillion. The factory has a designed production capacity of 124,800 tons per year and specializes in producing key shrimp feed products, including Blanca, CP, Hi-Po, Hi-Gro, Lotus, and Nasa. These feed products are strictly controlled for nutritional content, sinking rate, water stability, moisture, particle size, and dust ratio, helping improve shrimp resistance and support healthy growth.
C.P. Vietnam Ca Mau Aquaculture Feed Mill is equipped with a comprehensive system of modern machinery and equipment, with automation applied across multiple stages of production. In particular, the SCADA monitoring, control and data acquisition system enables precise dosing of individual raw materials, control of mixing time and operating parameters, thereby contributing to consistent product quality and improved production efficiency.
With the inauguration of the Ca Mau Aquaculture Feed Mill, C.P. Vietnam aims to strengthen its capacity to deliver high-quality, nutritional solutions directly to Ca Mau and the Mekong Delta, while shortening transportation distances to shrimp farming areas and enhancing flexibility in delivery and logistics management. This will provide farmers and businesses across the aquaculture value chain in Ca Mau and the Mekong Delta with greater access to a stable supply of quality feed tailored to diverse nutritional requirements at different stages of shrimp development and under varying farming conditions. At the same time, they will have access to advanced and modern aquaculture technical support locally.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the C.P. Vietnam Ca Mau Aquaculture Feed Mill, Mr. Le Van Su, Member of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee, shared: “The inauguration of the plant not only marks the establishment of another modern industrial production facility, but more importantly, adds a strategically significant link to Ca Mau’s shrimp value chain. The plant will help Ca Mau secure a stable supply of high-quality feed, contributing to lower costs for the shrimp farming industry, while creating more jobs, increasing incomes, promoting the development of processing and supporting industries, and making a positive contribution to the province’s economic growth in the years ahead.”
Creating more jobs, supporting sustainable livelihoods, and driving the sustainable growth of the aquaculture industry
C.P. Vietnam’s Ca Mau Aquaculture Feed Mill currently provides stable employment for nearly 200 employees. The company also works with suppliers and supports service providers, thereby generating income and stable livelihoods for local workers.
“C.P. Vietnam is committed to working alongside Vietnam’s shrimp farming and aquaculture industries toward sustainable development. We continue to invest in modern facilities and produce high-quality nutritional solutions for shrimp farming, while expanding training and advanced technical support services to help shrimp farmers improve production efficiency, generate income, secure stable employment, and build sustainable livelihoods for local communities,” said Mr. Boonlap Watcharawanitchakul, Executive Vice President, Aquaculture Business, C.P. Vietnam.
According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), Ca Mau is one of the country’s key shrimp production hubs. In 2025, the province’s shrimp production reached 594,851 tons, equivalent to 101.9% of the annual target and an increase of 5.2% compared with 2024. This result further underscores the important role of the shrimp industry in the local economy and Ca Mau’s position in Vietnam’s shrimp sector.
The operation of a modern aquaculture feed mill in Ca Mau reflects C.P. Vietnam’s efforts to strengthen the local supply of shrimp feed, enhance production efficiency in key shrimp farming areas, and thereby increase the shrimp industry’s contribution to economic development.
